Description: An Argenta Vase, with handle by Gustavsberg. Gustavsberg ceramics factory was founded in 1827 near Stockholm, Sweden.
The �Argenta� range was created by Wilhelm Kage, who was associated with the company from 1917 until 1949. The Argenta range, a matte green glazed stoneware featuring silver inlays in either figural or geometric designs, was created in 1930 and produced until the 1960�s. Although the green glaze is the most familiar, Argenta was also produced in white and brownish red glazes.
