Description: A most attractive studio pottery bowl by Owen Thorope. Owen Thorope makes highly decorated individual pieces using a technique like majolica but at stoneware temperatures, tin glazes are employed, some tinted cream or light blue with elaborate brushed patterns applied to the unfired glaze, on occasions he also adds calligraphy to this process. This dish has the statement
"Well;
put it all off until tomorrow;
You can do something about everything then"
a sentiment shared by many!
