Description: A delightful small vase by David Frith, Brookhouse Pottery.
David and Margaret Frith set up their first workshop, David Frith Pottery, in 1963 and then in 1975 bought the Malt House in Denbigh and changed the pottery's name to Brookhouse. Their reputations are well established with David Frith being one of the most respected of Britain's active potters. David, with his mastery of the potter's wheel, makes majestic pieces decorated with his personal style of waxed motifs under heavy reduction overglazes and glaze trailing. Margaret concentrates on individual porcelain with carved decoration.
