Tony Bidgood has been involved in the antiques business since 1995. Until 2005 he traded from Northcote Road Antiques Market, London SW11, where he developed his interest and knowledge of Studio Pottery. In 2006 Tony and his wife Sue relocated from London to East Sussex, and decided to continue within the Antiques arena as a partnership, trading, until 2009, as Bidgoods in Rye, East Sussex.
Bidgoods are continuing to trade on www.bidgoods.co.uk as well as having taken a unit at Station Antiques, Appledore and offering a bespoke framing service.
Bidgoods policy is to supply good quality items of studio pottery and art as well as art pottery, ceramics and glass of good design and quality, mainly from the 20th Century. It is hoped that the development of the web site will allow our customers, old and new, continued access to Bidgoods, irrespective of geographical area. Our aim is to develop and maintain a high level of trust with customers. The site is updated regularly, two to three times a month as new pieces are acquired. For ease of navigation the stock is divided into four categories: 'Studio Pottery’, ‘Art Pottery’, ‘Ceramics and Glass’ and ‘Miscellaneous’.

Bidgoods now have a unit at Station Antiques in Appledore and Tony is usually there on a Friday and will be happy to welcome new as well as old customers. Items purchased from www.bidgoods.co.uk may also be collected from there.
Bespoke Framing Service
Bidgoods now offer a bespoke framing service using a wide selection of Traditional and Contemporary frames, examples of the frames available are displayed at station Antiques.
